OUR EQUALITY DUTIES

We aim to be a community where everyone is treated fairly and with respect. We want everyone to reach their potential, and recognise that for some students, extra support is needed to help them to achieve their full potential and be successful.

We take our legal duties on equality seriously. We welcome our general duty under the Equality Act 2010 to eliminate discrimination, to advance equality of opportunity and to foster good relations.

We are required to publish equality information as well as equality objectives, which show how we plan to reduce or remove particular inequalities.

Our equality information and objectives will be published shortly on our website. Please contact: Isabelle Evans (Vice Principal Students and Community) or Jacqueline Opara (Human Resource Officer) if you require any further information.

Rebuilding The Crest Academies

CrestAcademies

Wates Construction was awarded the £37m Crest Academy project in 2011.  The project will see the development of two new Academies in Brent, London.

The new 18,800 sq metre Crest Girls’and Crest Boy’s Academies will consist of four separate buildings, one for girls and one for boys, with the two central buildings housing specialist subjects and sports. Reaching five storeys, each building will offer modern flexible teaching facilities including laboratory and workshop space and two indoor sports halls.  Two multi-use games areas will be provided outside. The Academies as a whole have been arranged around a full height atrium in order to maximise natural light.
