On Thursday 11th February a group of students (Y7/Y8) took part in a workshop about the River Thames at the Thames Explorer Trust on Chiswick Pier. The students impressed all with their knowledge of rivers and really enjoyed the day despite the freezing cold weather! Mustafa Kherbane wrote the following about his day:
“Today we had an amazing trip to the River Thames. We took off at 8:35 and when we reached our destination we split into two groups. My group stayed in the Pier House where we learned some interesting facts. Facts including 'The Great Stink' which occurred in 1858, along with the depth, temperature and speed of the River Thames. It was most definitely a tremendous trip, worthy of the cost!"
